Shipping Rates and Shipping Methods
When you’re figuring out how much to charge your customers for shipping, these are the best options for you to consider:
- Exact shipping — Customer gets charged the same amount that the carrier charges to ship.
- Flat rate shipping — Customer gets charged a flat rate based on factors like weight or order value.
- Free shipping — Customers who meet certain requirements (such as $100 minimum order) don’t have to pay for shipping.
Follow these steps to set your shipping rates:
Step #1: Select “Shipping” from your Shopify settings page.
Step #2: Navigate to “Shipping Zones” and select “Add Shipping Zone.”
Step #3: Add rates based on your predetermined factors.
