You can use Shopify to import a list of your wholesale customers from a CSV file.
The best way to do this is by tagging those customers in the file with wholesale tags before you import the list to your Shopify account. This will make the process much faster once those customers have been imported.
For example, if you know that certain customers will get discounts based on volume while other customers will get a flat percentage off, then segment those users with tags ahead of time.
Once you’ve created and properly edited a CSV file of your wholesale customers, take the following steps:
Step #1: Navigate to the “Customers” section of your Shopify admin account.
Step #2: Select “Import Customers.”
Step #3: Click “Choose File” from the pop-up.
Step #4: Select the CSV file with your wholesale customer list.
Step #5: Confirm the CSV import.
Next, simply navigate to the “Customers” section of your “Wholesale” menu to make sure that the list has been uploaded.
